About this pattern

A bookmark with a dark brown cherry blossom bough climbing it in a long S, thick at the foot and thinner toward the tip. Three open blossoms sit in its bends, two large and one smaller near the top, each with five pale pink petals round a deeper pink center and five small gold dots. Five closed buds in deeper pink stand off the bough: two at the top and one beside each blossom. There are no leaves. The dark brown of the bough also outlines every petal and bud. Full crosses only. It is 33 by 96 stitches and uses five thread colors.
