About this pattern

A square border frame that goes all the way round a bare square middle. A green line runs along the outer edge and a red line frames the middle; the band between them is stitched white. On each of the four sides a pair of red cherries hangs in from the green line on a forked green stalk, and at each corner two green leaves grow in from it on straight stalks. The middle, 23 by 23 stitches, is left bare for an initial or a small motif of your own. The frame mirrors left to right and top to bottom. Full crosses only. It is 61 by 61 stitches and uses six thread colors.
