About this pattern

A tall white church candle for a narrow bookmark: a lit candle marked with a plain red cross, standing in a gold candlestick. The flame is orange with a pale heart, on a short dark wick. The candle is a straight white pillar with a gray shadow down its right side, and the cross is a thin red Latin cross on its upper half. The candlestick has a wide drip pan, a round knob on its stem and a spreading foot, in gold with three paler bands. Everything stands on one center line. The candle is white thread, so it shows best on a natural or colored fabric. Small: 566 stitches.

17 stitches wide by 60 high: 566 full cross stitches in 7 DMC colors (Winter White 3865, Ultra Dark Coffee Brown 938, Medium Topaz 783 and 4 more).
