The word MISSISSIPPI in plain block capitals, with the M, the four letters I and the two letters P in navy and the four letters S in red. Under the word a light blue wavy band, four waves long and as wide as the word, stands for the river. The letters are all the same height and their strokes are two stitches thick. The colors are flat, with no outline. Full crosses only. It is 73 by 20 stitches and uses three thread colors.
