About this pattern

A thin upright Christmas tree in the manner of an antique sampler motif: one stem with four tiers of olive green boughs that fall away from it in stepped diagonals, each tier wider than the one above. A dark red candle with a gold flame stands on the outer end of each tier, eight in all. A gold five-point star tops the tree and a plain dark red pot holds it. Flat color with no outline. The left side mirrors the right. Full crosses only. It is 23 by 46 stitches and uses three thread colors.

23 stitches wide by 46 high: 394 full cross stitches in 3 DMC colors (Dark Pine Green 3362, Very Dark Shell Pink 221, Very Dark Old Gold 3829).
