About this pattern

A single flame leaning in a draught: a tall tongue swept up and to the right with a short second tongue beside it. Its colors run from a deep red edge through red and orange to a pale yellow middle and a small white-hot core, each inner color a teardrop standing low inside the one around it. It is not meant to mirror. A small piece for a card or a 3 inch hoop. The deep red edge is the outline; there is no brown line. Full crosses only. It is 22 by 30 stitches and uses five thread colors.

22 stitches wide by 30 high: 407 full cross stitches in 5 DMC colors (Red 321, Dark Autumn Gold 3853, Medium Garnet 815 and 2 more).
