About this pattern

A tree shown above and below the ground inside a round gold ring. Above a level ground line stands a leafy crown in three greens, with a dark brown trunk and branches showing through it. Below the line the ring is filled with brown earth, and the roots spread through it as a mirror image of the branches above. The upper half of the ring is left as bare fabric around the crown. The left side mirrors the right. It was drawn with Yggdrasil, the world tree of the Norse myths, in mind. Full crosses only. It is 59 by 59 stitches and uses six thread colors.
