About this pattern

Two red hearts, one in front of the other, with two gold sparkles. The front heart is bright red with a pale pink shine along its upper left and a darker shade down its lower right; behind it, up and to the right, a deep garnet heart shows both its lobes and its right side. A gold four-pointed sparkle stands at the top left and another at the bottom right, clear of the hearts. Red for a ruby wedding anniversary, the fortieth; no number and no words are drawn. Dark brown outline round both hearts; the sparkles have none. Full crosses only. It is 32 by 31 stitches and uses five thread colors.
