About this pattern

A square valentine sampler: the same heart nine times, in three rows of three inside a thin red frame, each filled a different way in red, pink and white. Top row: solid red, pink and white columns, slanting candy stripes. Middle row: a pink and white check, a small red heart inside a white one, level red and white bars. Bottom row: pink chevrons, a red windowpane grid, white polka dots on red. Each heart is rimmed in red, with no dark outline, and any one can be stitched alone as a mini. The white is stitched. Full crosses only. It is 71 by 71 stitches and uses three thread colors.

71 stitches wide by 71 high: 2,449 full cross stitches in 3 DMC colors (Red 321, Winter White 3865, Medium Melon 3706).
