About this pattern

A snowman left as bare unstitched fabric inside a solid blue panel, in the manner of Assisi work. It is two snowballs, the smaller on the larger, with a top hat sitting level on its head and a scarf round its neck with one end hanging down on the right. A black line one stitch wide runs round the snowman and round the panel, and draws two upright eyes with a short dash below them. Two round buttons show as blue through the body, each ringed by the line. Only the blue ground and the black line are stitched, so the snowman is the color of the fabric. Full crosses only.

28 stitches wide by 48 high: 869 full cross stitches in 2 DMC colors (Very Dark Baby Blue 312, Black 310).
