About this pattern

A Highland cow and her calf standing side by side on a strip of grass, both facing you. The cow has long pale horns that sweep out and up, a shaggy golden fringe in pointed locks over her brow, an ear at each side, two dark eyes, a broad pink muzzle with two nostrils, a ginger coat marked with darker locks and two short legs with dark hooves. The calf, on the right, is a small copy with the same fringe, ears and pink muzzle and no horns. Each animal mirrors left to right about its own middle. Dark brown outline; the grass has none. Full crosses only.

61 stitches wide by 45 high: 1,369 full cross stitches in 8 DMC colors (Copper 921, Ultra Dark Coffee Brown 938, Dark Autumn Gold 3853 and 5 more).
