About this pattern

A map of New Zealand: the North Island and the South Island in white on a rectangle of dark teal-blue sea, with a red heart in the middle of the North Island. The heart marks no town. The North Island has its long northern peninsula, a blunt cape to the east and a rounded bulge on the west; the South Island leans from lower left to upper right, with two prongs at its top and a small knob on its east coast. The coasts are simplified, Stewart Island and the smaller islands are left out, and there is no lettering. Full crosses only. It is 51 by 64 stitches and uses three thread colors.
