About this pattern

A square nautical border that goes all the way around. A light blue band, edged in navy inside and out, holds a navy anchor in each corner and eight navy waves with white foam crests between them: a pair curling toward each other along the top and along the bottom, and two down each side. Every anchor and every wave stands upright, and the frame mirrors left to right. The middle is left bare, 30 stitches square, for an initial or a small motif of your own. There is no outline. Full crosses only. It is 64 by 64 stitches and uses three thread colors.

64 stitches wide by 64 high: 3,196 full cross stitches in 3 DMC colors (Baby Blue 3755, Medium Navy Blue 311, Winter White 3865).
