About this pattern

A butterfly seen from above with its wings spread, stitched as one solid black shape: two long upper wings with rounded tips, two shorter lower wings that splay outward, a narrow slit of bare fabric between the upper and lower wing on each side, a slim body whose tail end hangs free between the lower wings, and two antennae in a V. The left side mirrors the right. Full crosses only. It is 41 by 29 stitches and uses one thread color.
