A purple butterfly seen from above with its wings open: two large upper wings and two smaller lower wings, one round pale yellow spot on each, a slim brown body and two antennae. Outlined in dark brown and shaded as if lit from the upper left, with a lighter violet edge on that side and a darker one on the other. The outline and the spots mirror left to right. It is 38 by 26 stitches and uses six thread colors.
