About this pattern

A bookmark with one purple bearded iris in full flower at the top of a long straight green stalk: pale violet petals standing in a dome over three deeper violet petals that hang down, with yellow beards and darker tips. A fat purple bud in a green sheath stands on a short side shoot half way down, two pointed sword leaves rise at the foot, the taller on the left, and the plant stands on a strip of green ground. A plain double line in two violets runs all the way round as its edge. Dark brown outline on the plant. Full crosses only. It is 35 by 86 stitches and uses seven thread colors.
