About this pattern

A square border that goes all the way around: a pale blue band edged in slate blue, with twelve small Christmas trees standing in it, four along the top, four along the bottom and two more down each side. Every tree is the same: dark green in three tiers on a short brown trunk, hung with six gold baubles and topped with one gold stitch for a light. All twelve stand upright. The middle is left bare, 25 by 25 stitches, room for an initial or a tiny motif of your own. The band is stitched solid. It mirrors left to right. Full crosses only. It is 59 by 59 stitches and uses five thread colors.
