About this pattern

A square border frame of laurel leaves that goes all the way around an empty middle. One thin dark green stem runs round all four sides; on each side two sprays of pointed leaves, light green with a dark midrib, run in pairs from a small gold tie at the middle of the side out toward the corners, and one leaf points outward from each corner. The frame is the same on all four sides and mirrors both ways. No outline. Full crosses only. It is 61 by 61 stitches and uses three thread colors; the bare middle is 35 stitches across between the leaf tips.

61 stitches wide by 61 high: 1,416 full cross stitches in 3 DMC colors (Forest Green 989, Hunter Green 3346, Medium Old Gold 729).
