A tall narrow bookmark worked in one red thread: a thin red frame divided into three equal squares, one above the other, with a solid heart in the top square, a Christmas tree in the middle and a lit candle on a dish at the bottom. The tree has three tiers that end in short branch tips, on a short trunk; the candle has a one-stitch wick and a pointed flame. It is in the plain red-on-white manner of Scandinavian Christmas embroidery. Everything mirrors left to right and the frame closes on all four sides. No lettering. Full crosses only. It is 23 by 67 stitches and uses one thread color.
